Attorney Doug Hyne has been proud to practice law in Massachusetts since 2003.
Prior to founding the Law Offices of Douglas R. Hyne, P.C., Attorney Hyne was a Partner at a busy litigation firm located in downtown Boston for many years. Hyne has conducted numerous trials throughout the Commonwealth, handling everything from divorces to complex medical malpractice actions. He takes pride in practicing the lost art of litigation and truly loves walking into a courtroom.
Attorney Hyne is a certified Probate and Family Court mediator, conciliator and Category F Guardian ad Litem. Doug is an adjunct professor at New England Law | Boston, where he has taught since 2009. Doug also earned his JD from New England Law and was the Editor in Chief of the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement.
Hyne resides just south of Boston with his wife and two children. He is a Town Meeting Member and coached youth baseball and basketball for many years before he got too old and slow. Attorney Hyne has worked as a volunteer conciliator at the Suffolk Probate and Family Court and has also volunteered his time representing individuals in proceedings before the Massachusetts Client Security Board, an entity designed to compensate individuals who were victims of attorney misconduct. Doug was raised by his parents to help others – he is deeply grateful to be able to do that every day as an attorney in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
